Blanche de Bruxelles is an easy drinking and soft, fruity-citrus, biere Blanche. Best served in a branded straight glass with the sediment. Good with Thai food and mussels.
This is the definitive example of a Belgian wit beer. Unfiltered and brewed with 40% wheat, the beer has a mellow, hazy light yellow body and a luxuriant snow white head. The coriander and orange peel in the beer are obvious in both the aroma and taste, lending the beer a spicy, zesty edge. It’s exceptionally thirst quenching, especially when the temperature begins to rise in summer.
Located in a strategic location, the brewery was created in order to supply pubs around the neighbouring porphyry quarries so that the numerous workmen, made thirsty by stone working, could come to refresh themselves. Quickly, the sales network has spread to neighbouring villages.
